Terms and Conditions Summary

 

Tuition Format

Lessons are delivered either:

• Face-to-face, or

• Online via Google Meet

Students who normally attend in person may request an online lesson with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

Online Learning Requirements

To support effective teaching, students must have:

• A reliable high-speed internet connection

• A laptop or desktop computer

• A working camera and microphone (camera must remain on)

• Access to Google Meet

• A quiet, distraction-free workspace

For safeguarding purposes, a responsible adult must remain present in the home during online sessions involving minors.

Fees & Payments

Tuition fees are payable in advance on a half-term basis via bank transfer.

Payment secures your child’s dedicated weekly time slot.

Fees are based on the reservation of the Tutor’s time rather than attendance.

Missed lessons therefore, remain chargeable.

If the Tutor cancels a session, it will be rearranged, refunded, or credited.

Attendance & Cancellations

• 12+ hours’ notice: lesson may be rearranged

• Less than 12 hours’ notice: full fee applies

• 7 days’ notice is required for planned absences

Notice to discontinue tuition must be provided before the start of a new half-term. Once invoiced, half-term fees remain payable.

Safeguarding & Professional Practice

Student welfare is a priority at Edu Plus Workshops and Tuitions.

All lessons are audio and video recorded for safeguarding, safety, quality assurance, and dispute resolution.

Recordings are securely stored, retained for up to 30 days, and never shared or used for marketing purposes.

Photography or recording by students or parents is not permitted.

Professional Expectations

Students are expected to attend punctually, behave respectfully, and follow safety guidance.

Communication is conducted during reasonable working hours to maintain professional boundaries.
